Jim Thompson - Now Partnered with The Dalchow Team Your Local Pillar To Post Home Inspector

 

The Dalchow Team is proud to partner with longtime Pillar To Post inspector Jim Thompson as he transitions into retirement. We’re honored to continue serving the Realtors and clients who have trusted Jim over the years, while providing the same high level of service, professionalism, and care they have come to expect.

 

The Dalchow Team’s story began in Hudson, Wisconsin, in 2023 when Luke and Katie Dalchow took over the Mike Bibeault Pillar To Post franchise. Since then, our team has continued to grow through partnerships with respected inspectors who were ready to transition into retirement.

 

In the fall of 2024, we partnered with the Allendar Team, expanding our service area further into the Twin Cities while helping provide a seamless transition for their longtime Realtor partners and clients. In 2025, we were fortunate to continue that growth by partnering with Mark Layton as he entered retirement. Most recently, in July 2026, we partnered with Jim Thompson to carry on the relationships and reputation he built throughout his years in the home inspection industry.

 

Each of these partnerships means more to us than simply expanding our service area. We understand the trust that Realtors and clients place in their home inspector, and we take seriously the responsibility of continuing the level of service they have grown accustomed to.

 

Today, the Dalchow Team proudly serves the Twin Cities metro and Western Wisconsin with a growing team of experienced inspectors and an expanding range of inspection and testing services. We’re excited to continue building on the strong relationships established by Mike, the Allenders, Mark, and Jim while creating new relationships of our own.
